About ACFMT

Africa Child Foundation Mission of Tanzania (ACFMT) is a non-governmental, non-political, and nonprofit organization operating in Tanzania. Our mission is to support children living in challenging environments caused by factors such as COVID-19 and HIV, as well as to aid individuals with disabilities, particularly women, youth, and children.

ACFMT is an institutional membership organization that unites seventeen non-governmental organizations. We strive to empower persons with disabilities (PWDs) across various sectors, including education, healthcare, awareness, agriculture, entrepreneurship, environmental conservation, sports, talents, good governance, and human rights.

Our primary focus is on marginalized children, youth, and women with disabilities. Annually, we hold an Inclusive Forum for PWDs, giving them a platform to voice their challenges, advocate for their special needs, and discuss rights related to economic empowerment, quality education, healthcare services, sports and talent development, and inclusion. These aspects form the core of ACFMT's agenda.

Our leadership is guided by feminist values, promoting equality and empowerment for all.
